Olympics
Tina Dixon made her Olympic broadcast debut as the snowboarding reporter during NBC’s coverage of the 2006 Torino Games. She worked on all six snowboarding-related shows and was the first reporter to interview gold medalists Shaun White, Hannah Teter and Seth Wescott.
College Football
During the fall you can find Tina on the sidelines for ESPN covering college football match-ups featuring Top 25 teams like Rutgers and Louisville. As a reporter, she keeps the live audience informed of newsworthy events taking place on the field in addition to interviewing standout players and coaches.
X Games
Since 2001 Tina has been the premier female announcer for ESPN’s coverage of the Winter X Games. In 2007 she reported live for seven different snowboarding and skiing events that aired on ESPN and ABC from Jan. 25-28. Tina crosses over in August to cover skateboarding and BMX at the Summer X Games.
Action Sports
Tina has become a familiar face to action sports fans by serving as a television host for premier events from the Motocross World Championships to the X-Dance Award Show. She spent much of 2004 traveling to 12 of the world’s most exotic surf spots including Tahiti, Fiji, Brazil, and South Africa to cover the ASP Word Championship Tour for OLN.
Competitive History
Prior to television Tina traveled and competed as a pro snowboarder, winning four X Games medals, including 2 gold. She has also been featured in magazines such as Transworld Snowboarding, Snowboarder, Snowboard Life, Nylon, Sports Illustrated, Cosmopolitan and Mademoiselle.
